Holistic Nutrition considers the individual as a whole and uses food and lifestyle management as well as necessary supplements to correct imbalances and create a state of well being.  Emphasis is placed on environment, emotions, values, and physical symptoms.  Through facilitated wellness counselling, individuals learn to live a healthier and more fulfilled life while choosing healthy and nutrition dense food to maintain optimal health.  Proper nutrition combined with a healthy lifestyle can improve many symptoms, increase wellness and reduce disease.  

In holistic nutrition it is believed that we need a certain balance of protein, vitamins, and other nutrients to help our bodies reach maximum energy levels and overall physical and emotional health. It is also believed that each individual is different and requires different amounts of these proteins, vitamins, and nutrients to make that particular individual healthy.  Holistic Nutritionists devise protocols which include diet and supplements that match each individual's health and nutritional needs.
